Venue Hire
Are you looking to hire a venue or do you want to host a meeting in a convenient and spacious Frankton location? The Rauawaawa Kaumātua Charitable Trust has private room hire available to local businesses and community groups. Our facility is located at Te Puna o Te Ora, 50 Colombo Street, Hamilton.

Community Training Room
This room is suitable for small conferences, community hui, training and board meetings.
Room capacity: 25-30 people
Seating for 26 people. (Additional seating may be added upon request)

No food is to be consumed in this room
Te Puea Room
This room is suitable for Whanau and Community Hui. It has a more formal yet relaxed environment with quality furnishings.
Room capacity: 30 people

No food is to be consumed in this room
Shoes must be removed before entering this room

Social Room
This room is suitable for large gatherings.
Room capacity: 100 people

Wharekai & Kitchen
This room is suitable for large gatherings, food service and preparation. The Wharekai can also be divided into 3 separate rooms and can be used for smaller hui (approximately 10-15 people per small room).
Please Note: Kitchen utensils (i.e. plates, cutlery, pots, cups etc) are not provided with hire of this facility. Please request a kitchen utensils hire form if required. An additional hire fee will apply.
Room capacity: 120 people
There is only seating for 70. Extra seating needs to be organised by the hirer.
