In 2016 these were key successful fundraisers for Rauawaawa:

30th June - Matariki Art Auction,

kindly hosted by Wintec and lead by

Lenadeen Simpson-Brown (DIA).  A huge thanks to all the artists and donors of art pieces for the event on the day with a special acknowledgment of our event supporters and sponsors.

27th August - Fight for Kaumātua,

 "Charity Fight Night", ,

held at the Hamilton Cossie Club with key expert support from Merrill Purcell and Dean Northover (Mana Tangata Boxing Club). A huge thanks to all the fighters and their supporters as well as the trainers, sponsors and supporters for the event.

All proceeds for the last two events will go towards the facility upgrade. An appreciation plaque for each event will be installed at Rauawaawa, to acknowledge everyone that worked tirelessly to make the events a success.
